What is 'Armada'?

'The Spanish Armada (Spanish: Grande y Felicísima Armada, 'Great and Most Fortunate Navy') was the Spanish fleet that sailed against England under the command of the Duke of Medina Sidonia in 1588, with the intention of overthrowing Elizabeth I of England to stop English involvement in the Spanish Netherlands and English-sponsored piracy in the Atlantic. Armada in this game, is our Spanish exclusive company, which means that all our members are playing Spanish characters in the game.

Why only Spanish?

Our mission is to maximize the benefit for Spain and hopefully we all have fun under this competitive condition.

We are intentionally making our company specific to Spanish because we are planning to privateer
non-Spanish players and heavily invest on competitive ports like Cali-cut.

We are a well balanced team of merchant/adventure/maritime

We have number of members who announced to be an expert for some kind of areas. Our merchant-oriented players set out roles to maximize the benefit of other members. Right now we have like...

- a casting expert + refiting merchant ships (high merchant lv) + secondary crafting

- a Sewing expert

- a Shipbuilding expert + refiting battle ships (high maritime lv)

- Adventurers expert to get important skill boost items.

- cooking expert

Our short-term goals

1. Form the company in Seville ASAP (planing to do it on the second day of OP)
2. Acquire a company house (number #1 house hopefully) in Seville
3. Develop important Spanish EU territory ports (like Barcelona)　to unlock goods and recipes.
4. Be the most contributing company for the first great sea battle in Spain.
5. Militarize one area toward India with our maritime-oriented players.

Our long-term goals

1. Be the most influential company for investment (as an individual company not including. Not planing to split the company)

2. Have the strongest team for Great Sea-War

3. Have a high standard of repetitions from other Spanish players regarding our manner, play-style, contribution to Spain

4. Never have to split the company. (well, sometimes it just happens but we will try our best.)

Access to internal data/tools

We are working on translating documents written for other servers of UWO.
We already have a complete list of aides (with skills and their requirements), every goods in every city, and some other programs/web tools to simulate and analyze important data from different perspective. We are going to make those data public sometime after OB starts.

Interested in joining us?

If you are interested in joining us those are the Regulations:

- You must have played UWO in CB, in other servers or a recommendation from our member (we already have 25 members and starting to limit ourselves in numbers)
- Respect other players including non-Spanish
- Must not use multiple clients

- Must notify the president or vice-presidents of your absent if you are to be offline for over 2 weeks.

Must come online between 17th - 24th of a month.

Slight change to the company rule.

We have been keeping members who are inactive but gave me a good real life reason for inactiveness.

But from now on, EVERYONE must come online between 17th to 24th at least once and come to Seville to delieve items for contributions.

This is your minimum responsibility for keeping your slot in Armada.
